Celebrating 10 years of passion, romance and thrills don’t miss the 2009 Festival, screening Sep 23-Oct 12 at Palace Norton Street, Academy & Verona.
The selection is headlined by the powerful opening night drama VINCERE from auteur Marco Bellocchio (Good Morning, Night), as well as new films from Marco Risi (FORTÀPASC), Gabriele Salvatores (AS GOD COMMANDS), Ferzan Ozpetek (ONE PERFECT DAY) and Pupi Avati (GIOVANNI’S FATHER), major works from rising talents Gianni Di Gregorio (MID-AUGUST LUNCH) and Maria Sole Tognazzi (THE MAN WHO LOVES) and box-office smash hits MANY KISSES LATER and THE 1000-EURO GENERATION.
The Festival also presents a special ‘10 Anniversary Retrospective’ of the finest films from the Festival’s first decade.
