 2010 Spanish Film Festival
From May 5-16, the Festival celebrates its 13th year with an exciting selection of contemporary Spanish language cinema from Spain and Latin America at Palace Academy Twin & Norton Street.
The gala opening night selection is the much anticipated THE FRIEND’S ZONE, a vibrant romantic comedy set around the bars and streets of Bilbao. The opening night screening on May 5 at Norton Street will be followed by a Spanish fiesta featuring tapas, Spanish wine & beer, sangria, and live entertainment to dance away to!
The 2010 selection boosts a mix of audience favourites and the critically acclaimed, including films from Spain, Colombia, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and films set in Morocco, Namibia and Egypt!
